Sleep Apnea is also a condition that is eliminated after lap band or weight loss surgery. Heavy snoring, daytime sleepiness and frequent breathing cessations while sleeping are the most common symptoms of Sleep Apnea. These symptoms will generally dissipate as the patient loses the excess weight after the procedure.
