I'm almost 100% sure they are changing hosts. That message there means there is NO website on that server any longer. GettheHiv is a new site and it took me 5 hours to get moved to a new server, uploading to a new server is a very slow job even with high speed.

And the scarey thing is that can happen to any site just like any one of our computers.

I would hate to have to see them start over as a brand new site, I know from the short time that I have been working on this site that it's hours and hours of work and free time out in just to see other people enjoy it. I run dailey backups and download them to another hard drive.

This means we have a server operational, and I would assume they are trying to retrieve the data from the old server, or the back up drive, and are setting it on the new server....

Well, let's be realistic.....from the Vbulletin site, it takes no time at all to actually build a brand new board...it's just a matter of plugging in the code and setting the preferences and settings...that is with absolutely NOTHING to start with, no members, no data....

IF that was the case, and Inky could not retrieve the information..he would have said sorry, here is FBA...fresh start....end of story...

I'm looking at the extended wait as good news...He is able to retrieve the data, and is working to get it back to us, BUT he obviously has to make sure the pay sites are working first...the man has bills to pay...

and since citystylegirls is up and running...I think FBA should be not too far behind...
