NEW YORK - After a career of cranky insults, radio star Don Imus was fighting for his job Monday following one joke that by his own admission went “way too far.”

CBS Radio and MSNBC both said they were suspending Imus’ morning talk show for two weeks following his reference last week to members of the Rutgers women’s basketball team as “nappy-headed hos.”

I support Imus. Here in America, freedom of speech is only a freedom till you hurt someones feelings.

why does it feel like we dont live in a free country anymore? jesus people sue everyone for everything, people try to ban video games and shit, and i have never heard of people being suspended from the radio for saying something, thats insane. HIS COMMENT WASNT EVEN RACIST! it is the truth, they are a bunch of tattooed muscular women with nappy hair... 'hoes' is still slang for women right? i would think they would be more offended if he called them men, which seems to more accurately describe them in the first place... anyway im out i just had to rant about this for a minute.

Yes they are. I was heard about this just a few minutes before I had to leave for work yesterady so I couldn't post. I will not ever watch MSNBC again.

CBS better not cave in. It's bad enough he's suspended for two weeks.

Sadly I have to agree that he will lose his job. Until recently I very rarely ever said this word. It is so sad that these fucking niggers are going to win this shit.

CBS has also 'cancelled' Imus. He is done folks. Les Moonves just apologized to the people who have been hurt, particularly young people of color.
