I got it this time. I was having, and not knowing it, problems with my hard drive which crashed. A new hard drive and all is well except for my wallet which is a little bit liter.

I've been through the hard drive crashing thing myself. Since then I have always used an external drive for important stuff, it gets old losing stuff.
