Site Upgrades This Weekend

Early Sunday morning the site may go offline for an hour or two. The site will be moving to a new server, right now it's on a shared server and the speed is pretty slow.

Then there will be an upgrade to the rest of the site and I think the stupid login remember me option will be fixed and some other minor bugs.

As for the video section, not sure when that will be ready. Eventually everyone will be able to upload videos in their member area and share them. rate them and comment on them just like youtube. I have heard it may be ready to go in March, hopefully sooner, it's a lot of coding and testing, I just can't wait to get that added in here!

Just be patient everybody!

The main site may go offline before the night is over as we work on the site to fix a few bugs and add the new update.

I tried the update myself early this morning and I couldn't do it so our techie will do it for us. The forums will stay open though since this won't affect them.

You can add top 8 friends on your profile, just click on friends in you main site profile and on each pic there is the option to add them to the top 8

Main site profiles also are arranged a bit differant and also now show the latest people to view your profile.

Still working on....

MP3 uploads. The site is already updated with this in your main site profile under submit items BUT there is a bug that apparantly won't allow the first song that you have uploaded to play, second and third songs will play. This will be fixed soon.

Videos. The section which is under submit items in your main site profile will allow linking to videos on other sites. I was hoping this allowed for the actual uploading of videos but it don't and it's what we have to play with for the near future anyways.

Forums....

Well a few bugs still there. Hopefully it will be fixed when we can get the short URLS back such as http://www.getthehiv.com/funcritter. That link does not work yet and hopefully at the end of the day it will.

Forum design is still being worked on as well although it looks better than it did last night, at least it's very usable now.

Chat room will be back in a day or two also.
