Launch Radio Networks reports: KORN frontman Jonathan Davis has nothing but praise for the band's new "temporary" drummer, Terry Bozzio. Davis told Launch that not only is Bozzio an incredible player, but he's bringing a new dimension to KORN's music for the band's next album. "He's hands-down the most incredible drummer I've ever seen in my life," Davis said. "He plays this drum set that's a beast. Getting him in the studio, first day we wrote a song and we were off to the races. We wrote a song a day while he was here and it's really, really cool, progressive-type stuff. We're really excited, it's brought something different to the band definitely. I can't wait for kids to hear what we're doing with this guy. It's gonna blow 'em away."

KORN is currently recording its eighth studio album and plans to release it this summer. Terry Bozzio will also join the band on tour this year, which will likely include a 2007 edition of the Family Values Tour.

Bozzio is filling in for original KORN drummer David Silveria, who announced in December that he was taking a hiatus from the group.

Jonathan Davis first worked with Bozzio on the soundtrack to the movie "Queen of the Damned". The drummer is best known for his work with FRANK ZAPPA, JEFF BECK and MISSING PERSONS.

KORN's CD of its recently taped "MTV Unplugged" performance will arrive on March 6. The show will premiere online on February 24 and on MTV March 2. Guests include members of THE CURE as well as EVANESCENCE singer Amy Lee, who sings on the first single, "Freak on a Leash".

Its my opinion that Silvera is pretty much done with Korn. You dont just take a break from one of the biggest and top grossing bands in the last 10 years.

Ive seen Korn a few times and they are one of my favorite bands.
Not too woried about losing Silvera, and I felt the same when Head left.

As long as John, Fieldy and Munky all stick together it will be all good.

Thats kind of my thoughts to. I could see Silvera taking time off from the tour, but recording the new album you wouldve though hed at least want to do that. Thats the only thing making me believe that hes done. Well see I guess.
